Refund policy
Returns
Please inspect your order carefully upon receipt. If any product is damaged or if you are not completely satisfied with your product selection, please notify us within seven (7) days of receipt of order. If possible, please take photos of any damages during shipment and let us know immediately via email at cheryl[at]thearomatherapyshoppe[dot]com.
We will gladly accept the unused and unopened product back in its original condition and provide you with a store credit toward your next purchase. You are responsible for shipping charges incurred to return products to The Aromatherapy Shoppe (unless shipment was damaged). No restocking fees are charged by us. In the case of damaged products, you may request immediate replacement. The Aromatherapy Shoppe will ship the replacement products to Customer - at no charge - as soon as damaged products are returned and received by The Aromatherapy Shoppe.
Returns must be received by The Aromatherapy Shoppe no later than seven (7) days after being notified by Customer. Store credit is valid for product purchase only and may not be applied toward shipping. To complete your return, mail your package to: The Aromatherapy Shoppe, 893 Levy Loop, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23454. We require a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase be included in the returned package.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a store credit, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit. If you are approved, then your store credit will be processed and you will be notified how to use your credit within a certain amount of days.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, within seven (7) days of order receipt, send us an email to cheryl[at]thearomatherapyshoppe[dot]com and send your item to: The Aromatherapy Shoppe, 893 Levy Loop, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a store credit to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
Please be advised, we do not reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. All undelivered packages will be processed as a return. Please take this into consideration when selecting and verifying your shipping address for an order – we want to make sure you receive your order!
Please note that orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they have been processed. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us by email within 24 hours of order placement at cheryl[at]thearomatherapyshoppe[dot]com.
The Aromatherapy Shoppe ships USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class, Priority Mail and Express Mail and follows their rate schedules. WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. Under our domestic USPS shipping methods we ship to the USA. All other locations are considered international.

Virginia Sales Tax of 6.00% will be added to all orders shipped to Virginia addresses.
In stock handcrafted retail product orders are being processed and usually shipped within 3-7 business days of receiving your order, Monday - Friday, not including the day the order was placed. Wholesale orders may take up to two (2) weeks.
For shipping during holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, please expect a longer turnaround time.
For products that are backordered or temporarily out of stock, please allow additional time to restock. If your order includes an item on backorder and cannot be immediately restocked to fulfill your order within our normal shipping turnaround, the in-stock portion of your order will be shipped immediately and when the backordered item is available it will be mailed separately.
